No blazes. So it's not a major trail system?

No Idea what "blazes" are. But this single trail at several points intersects with the "Cross Seminole Trail" system, which in turn connects to other trails across Florida. You just have to watch out for some interconnects which appear on the bike maps but have not yet been built.

Here's one of those intersections:

and below is the Cross Seminole Trail:

Which by the way, is a very dangerous intersection because mountain bikers don't noticed 20mph roadies.

Initially thought it was Snowhill where there is no snow and no hill. And yes I did see a gator there where it runs along the Econ - but not in that picture. Sorry, poor quality cell phone pics.

Since yours is off the Cross Seminole Trail, guessing it is the little mountainbike offshoot near Big Tree Park, the other side of the 17/92 overpass - and I have been one of those 20mph roadies.

I like the looks of that trail... appears to be a good place to hone ones bunny/gator hopping skills.

Why were you hiking on a bike trail instead of riding?

Oh my... a local
*waves* o/

Yes that is exactly the spot. You have probably "on your left"'d me a few times on the seminole trail. I'm easy to spot, one of the very few fat&slow guys that rides a Trek instead of a Cervelo.

The $50bucks, 60 pounds, walmart MTB bike broke, on a failed attempt to ride over a teeter tooter (on that same trail BTW, long ago). I haven't been able to secure a decent hard tail to go MTB'in again. Plus I wanted to take pics, which is difficult to off the bike while riding single trail.
