I'm worried about my bunghole.

I made some funky minestrone last night. It's been a pretty rough morning for me. Even the dog wouldn't talk to me.

You ask us for our address and then post that you're worried about your bunghole?

Surely you jest.

I would reccomend that you removed the rough edges with a wood rasp and then smooth them out with sand paper, start at about an 80 grit and finish sand with 600. Then apply a light coat of wax.

Another option available to you is to drive a bung into your current bung hole, effectively sealing it shut, and boring a new bung hole. You can use my bung hole borer if you want to, though it is a bit rusty.

You keep cooking these expired date, strange exotic beans and whatever lately.I think you gulped down some of those bugs found inside of Mexican jumping beans and are experiencing "Montazumas Revenge".
There is no fast cure aside from some of the previous water hose treatments.

yay?

The hole in the side of a wine, beer,or whiskey barrel fitted with a cork(bung)and hammered in with a bung mallet(large wooden hammer).
If Couch is fermenting too much this could cause the bung to shoot out in which case the bung mallet will be used to install a larger bung.
