    Me and my bici...

After a long, hard day out on the road, my C59 loves to jump in the shower and take a nice, long soaking to wash away road grime.

After she is cleaned up and dried, my bici loves to relax in front of the computer monitor, looking at pictures of her "build-day."

She may even look at pictures of herself going for long, wet ride with me.

After the day is done, nothing feels better for my bici than a nice, soft warn bed--ciao bella!

    My current stable:

1989 SLX Bottecchia (Campy Athena 11s)
    1999 Cannondale F400 mountain bike
2012 Bianchi Infinito (Campy Record 11s)
2012 Colnago C59 in PR99 color scheme (Campy Record 11s)

Untangle that phone cord you philistine. Also, thank you for abstaining from posting the pic of you and the bike spooning in bed.

    A) What's a phone cord?
    B) I couldn't help but notice that Bici sleeps in hotel beds - is she not allowed in the bed at home?

My bici and I were on a holiday. She wanted to stay at the Four Seasons, all I could afford was La Quinta. But I told her that La Quinta is Spanish for La Chateau.

Everybody knows what La Quinta means in Spanish! It means "next to Denny's"

After popping for the C59, La Quinta would be a luxury. That is more like Motel 6 furnishings.

By the way, I thought La Quinta was spanish for "The Quinta."

In Spain a "quinta" is a sort of country estate or country chateau.

I do spoil my bikes, so in that sense they are "lucky." On the other hand I ride them pretty hard..well as hard as a 57 year old, short, overweight, asthmatic and diabetic rider can ride.

No sleeping. Those he just takes to hotels that have hourly rates.
Punctuation is important. It's the difference between "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse" and "I helped my uncle Jack off a horse"

I like how you think...any suggestions on good, hourly rate hotels? (Notice the careful placement of the comma.)
