8 cores at 5 GHz? That sounds crazy. I would upgrade my E8400 (2 cores at 3GHz) but it handles everything just fine since I don't have time for gaming right now. My previous build was water-cooled, I have the radiator around here somewhere, along with a PVC reservoir I made.

I must be getting old. Happy with my dual cores at 2.5ghz. I really don't have any use for a computer that requires more speed.

you won't notice any difference between 4.7 and 5. just bragging rights.

You want great computer advice? Goto a computer forum. www.hardforum.com (yes, that is a legit computer site and not porn as the name *might* suggest)
