In the market for a sub $200 tablet w/Android

This will be primarily an e-reader and PDA. Streaming music/mp3 player a plus, gaming and video playback not a deal breaker. Integration with Skype and preferably Google Voice would be nice. Here are the ones that have made the 'short list' so far:

-Lenovo IdeaPad. I like this because I can pick it today and I can create office documents with it. The 512mb of RAM gives me pause, though, and apparently lacks GPS (I thought Android devices had basic/limited GPS by default?).
-ASUS MeMO. Twice the RAM and memory, can also create documents.
-Kindle Fire. Perhaps the best hardware, but appears to lack create/edit of documents and is essentially locked into the Amazon ecosystem. Also lacks microSD, so would have to either download or sideload content/files and then start swapping files with laptop when memory nears capacity.

Note that wife has $55 in Amazon credit...

Further research compels me to scratch the Asus from the list. Wife is now trying to talk me into a 7" Coby. My past experience with the brand eons ago still leaves a bad aftertaste, but apparently they have improved their quality a bit. Most of the key specs seem to meet or even exceed the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (my wife has a Galaxy Tab 2 10").

Try nomorerack.com. To be honest I dont know anything about tablets but the one my wife got me seems to be a good one. Its a MID Android tablet, $69.00 shipped. Wifes say if you decide to order from them let them know you were refered by (email will be sent via PM), so she can get a discount next time she orders.

My mom has the Asus and seems to like it. She really just uses it for Netflix though.

I got a Google Nexus 7 tablet. Love it. I looked at the cheaper ones but decided to spend a little more and get this one. Mine is the 32gb, but I probably would have been fine with the 16gb model.

Yeah, I would have liked a slot for an SD card and a camera on the back, but I haven't really needed those yet. I use Dropbox to move files between my tablet and my other machines. Works great.

I put the Kindle app on mine and have been collecting free books. I have 70ish so far.

I'm going to be setting up my Google Voice account on it with GrooveIP or Talkatone apps to use it as a wifi phone in a pinch.

I got a $10 usb keyboard case from amazon and it turns the tablet into a mini laptop.

Or at least keep it to yourself (and wash your hand before shaking ours) if you do.

Gonna be putting this acquisition on hold for the time being. I have 'appropriated' my wife's old Nextbook2 and trying to breathe life into the battery (not wanting to charge via wall- will see if it will charge via PC).

It is slow (600MHz processor), and it has limited (2GB) onboard storage. The OS is Android 2.1 (originally 1.5) and unsure if I can upgrade the OS anymore because of the low end hardware. Will have to settle for Borders/Kobo instead of Kindle for books, but I can get titles from the local library. Apps will apparently come from Get Jar.

Edit: It did take a charge via the wall charger. It will play video, but doesn't support Flash, so a bunch of the interactive content on the web is gonna be inaccessible. It has a youtube app but wouldn't play any of the files that I clicked on...

This thing has a SD slot.

I originally thought that I could do without Flash, but I can't stream local radio stations nor can I access my Slacker account.
