See unusual/odd/funny/bizarre advertising while riding? post it here! do it now! hur

i love the cfa cows on billboards, one standing on the other's back while putting up an 'eat mor chikun' sign.

maybe it's an east coast thing, but here in flyover country i haven't seen any advertising on bikes. ???

A while back, one of the local jewelry stores was offering a free shotgun with with the purchase of a diamond. This is the ad, though not the same billboard.

In Arkansas we take shotgun weddings seriously.

bank of boulder for many years offered a fancied-up rifle in lieu of interest on a cd account for an ~6 year deposit. not just one brand/model, they varied over the years.

locals call this mortuary 'coffin on a stick'.
wonder whether there is an unclaimed body in it...

and don't get me started on mortuary stories.
i'm still traumatised from the time i spent in one 38 years ago.

where the church sign was, there use to be a bunch of them about going to church and sins.. like it was worth going down that stretch or road to see all of them it was a state attraction till he died and his daughter got the land and calmed it down some. now it is just the one or two because people still look for them, it is kind of a marker on the drive home, like the giant peach. and the steel chicken, it is how you know where you are going

Yeah, perhaps I date myself. Back when I worked in factories, the small pickup based trucks that had iced goods on the side and a warming compartment were sometimes known as cold trucks, the ones that made food for you were hot trucks.

A local advertising company plans to start bike advert...using panels attached to folding bicycles.

They will be cycling along the East Coast park which have a high human traffic because it is right by the beach.

I absolutely HATE this idea. Wall to wall advertising. Getting ridiculous. You can't even go to the park without rolling billboards everywhere.

First time one blows over in the wind, taking out a passing cyclist, the lawsuit will be HUGE and the company will be gone. Gone with the Wind, as it were.

I thought about doing something like that with my BikesAtWork trailer. But I couldn't stand the idea of having to ride it around.

our idea was to ride it places and leave it places for a few hours at a time, foot traffic is a little different down here.

Is there somewhere named Miramar in Colorado? Miramar means "Look at the sea" in Spanish.
