Happy birthday, Koffee B!

First, may I say- OH. EM. GEE!!!!!! Since I moved from hotmail to outlook, I've forgotten my password and had a long bunch of boo boos to deal with to get set up with a new account! Whoa!

Anyway, I just wanted to give big ups to Koffee- I've been hanging with her for the last year, and I found out through facebook that today is her special day! She might be on today, and since I won't be seeing you until our next ride, if you're on here, have a great day! Thanks for your training advice, and I look forward to our next ride. Btw, you WILL get your mojo back (as you like to call it)! Please send her some good vibes- she's been struggling with the riding lately!

Traceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ((((hugs))))

Omg, was that Napoleon Dynamite? I love love LOVE that movie. When he's doing the bird hand to that deaf song, the look on his face is priceless! I'm always cracking up.

No. I think her taste in coffee is quite a bit more exotic. From all the coffee she gets from her trips overseas, she's into the italian coffees, and turkish coffees.

Seriously!

I'm into Costa Rican and some of the South American coffees. Does she roast her own? Or is she still buying roasted beans?

Yup. She's helped me a lot with training advice and with my pilates training. She's got a wealth of knowledge!

I don't know about roasting. I just know she travels a lot and carries enough coffee to fill a suitcase! I've never seen anyone drink as much coffee as Koffee Brown! It's amazing.

I think she was a mod during your time modo. She left during the first great exodus. Hope she comes back a bit more. Only of a few of us OG Foosters left. April, Kirke, Vega, BDG, Koffee, Stacey, Eboo, we are AWESOME at running of the women here.

Very true. She was a mod. No longer. But she focuses a lot on training and has a long list of prestigious corporate clients. She's also half funded towards opening her own training studio. When it opens, I'm sure it will be a training mecca for people to go and get no nonsense training. I saw her house a few months back- it is crammed with all kinds of training equipment. She needs a studio already! And yeah- she should come back to the forum. She is missed. Her advice was spot on most days!

Her BF listing says it's 2 months since she's signed on.

Yeah, I know she checks in very infrequently. I guess it's good to be busy and in demand! I think I said I was posting in the hopes she swings by the forum on her birthday. But I suppose she chose not to. But I believe she stops by the forum 3-4 times per year to say hi and stuff.

Well, if we keep commenting on it, it will still be up at the top of the forum when she checks in.

Could be months. Do we have the stamina to do that?

Actually, that would be pretty funny.

Hey, tracyshapiro! Koffee had a running war with a bike messenger that had a photo thread going in the DC regional forum, qsmdc17 (I think) now banned for jackassery. You ever run into him? If so say hey for me.
