Prayers needed

Haven't mentioned this before but my older brother (William AKA Buzz) has been battling throat cancer for the past 8 months. Drove to Tenn, to see him in March to spend some time with him. Well, decided to call him this morning, haven't talked in a couple of weeks, and the news wasn't good. He's lost 40 lbs and is now on a feeding tube. We're only a yr apart so very close, will be heading up to see him tomorrow.

Lost my baby brother last June to Pancreatic cancer... I pray you and your family have a chance to spend whatever time you need and that God embraces you and yours and everyone involved, with love, comfort, guidance and support. Take care...

I read a study once where a group of people that were told they were being prayed for actually got better less often than a group that was never told. So i'm not sure if it's a good idea mate

This (thread) is neither the time or place to sperg.

I hope your brother's condition is improving, OP. I talked to my buddy Dave yesterday, who is symptom free. His doctors believed he would be expired about three years ago.

Update on my brother's condition. Still with us, lost 80lbs, still unable to eat after the radiation now going on six months. His moral is good, but the feeding tube that keeps him alive is beginning to wear on him. Hope to take a ride up to Tenn. early this coming year to spend some more time with him. We both ride so if he's up to it we plan on doing some in the mountains there. Oh, this might be confusing to members here. We both ride motorcycles, not planning on riding my Moto up there, LOL. Thanks to all here for the positive mojo sent Buzz's way, who really knows whether it helps or not but it certainly can't hurt.
