If they're side-by-side, they're not convoys, they're lane hogs.

The scariest part about them is that they all drove to the grocery store, with the same driving skills they use to push their carts.

Drives me bonkers! Or when they leave their cart catty wompus in the middle of the aisle so you can't get through and they are at the far end of the aisle not even paying attention. I push their cart really close to the edge of the aisle.

Another is when they have their kids walking/running all around them and can tell they are blocking the aisle but don't tell them to move out of the way when they see you coming!

I could go on but my bp is up now. Thanks windhchaser!

I bring zip ties and bungee cords and build a "raft" of carts around me. Usually use 6 carts or so. Barely fits down the aisles. I like to have a cart for meat, veggies, dairy, etc. Cross contamination is bad, ya'll. Oh, and I ride one of those powered scooters in the middle and just use a long grabber arm to get the things I want. If it will not reach, I just call the front desk on my cell phone and have them send someone to my aisle to help me.

What you see as rude, I see as a simple inability to navigate and plan ahead. There is no intentional discourteousness.

I disagree, especially when a lady looks you in the eye then proceeds to shove her cart in a sudden 90 degree lunge in front of your path and huffs at you.

It seems like more and more, people have no consideration for anyone but themselves.

I'm going to start shopping at 5am.

Our societal changes have resulted in a generation of self important, self empowered individuals. And this self imporance is rubbing off. We all view each other to be rude, inconsiderate, below us at times. Change has to start somewhere and someone has to go first. I used to be that angry man, and often I still am, but, I find I am much happier when I ease off the gas and give a friendly hand gesture to the person that wants in front of me, be it at the grocery store, in traffic, whatever. Practice random acts of kindness and gentleness. Do it for whatever your motivation is, but just do it. Life is to short to go through it angry and alone. Your smile and kindness may mean nothing, or it may change a heart and alter someones life path.

Laugh if you want, but I believe this to be true.
