what you want is Tear The Roof Off, which is a two cd collection of his best Parliament stuff. Start there first then move up in years to the "solo" stuff. That'll be enough to funk you up for awhile

I have a George Clinton and P-funk show from 1/11/1978. That show KILLS, it's absolutely amazing.

We saw Geoge Clinton LIVE just last October , and the year before that.He is still awesome!
His shows are mind boggling! Over 2 hours. He just doesn't stop.
In fact both times they turned off the lights and started packing **** up and he was still singing, and leading the audience with him!
George Clinton for PRESIDENT! No make that WORLD LEADER!

is that the dallas show that has been popping up a bit lately from a number of sources, i've got a couple of p/funk shows as well....one day i'm really going to get around to organizing, then i would be able to say what i have and what i don't....

out of all the times i have seen george, probably my favorite show was april something 2003 maybe....over at the avalon ballroom in san francisco....when i worked there.....i finally got to meet one of my role models face to face and backstage...i have a bunch of pictures somewhere....but this one is my favorite...taken by one of my friends' my crappy camera back then didn't do as well as his....


favorite p/funk....has to be maggot brain...

i still rock the p/funk all access on my string....i used to work a lot back then...
