what you want is Tear The Roof Off, which is a two cd collection of his best Parliament stuff. Start there first then move up in years to the "solo" stuff. That'll be enough to funk you up for awhile

I have a George Clinton and P-funk show from 1/11/1978. That show KILLS, it's absolutely amazing.
I may be going to hell in a bucket, babe,
But at least I'm enjoying the ride.

We saw Geoge Clinton LIVE just last October , and the year before that.He is still awesome!
His shows are mind boggling! Over 2 hours. He just doesn't stop.
In fact both times they turned off the lights and started packing **** up and he was still singing, and leading the audience with him!
George Clinton for PRESIDENT! No make that WORLD LEADER!
Any bike is better than no bike at all. But you'll ride a damn good bike more!

out of all the times i have seen george, probably my favorite show was april something 2003 maybe....over at the avalon ballroom in san francisco....when i worked there.....i finally got to meet one of my role models face to face and backstage...i have a bunch of pictures somewhere....but this one is my favorite...taken by one of my friends' my crappy camera back then didn't do as well as his....

favorite p/funk....has to be maggot brain...

i still rock the p/funk all access on my string....i used to work a lot back then...
