Keep improving and exit the hospital soon Tom. Someone found an american eel in the white river last week, were you sending it north to WestLaf with a note? If so, it took a wrong turn and went to Munci.

Get out of the doc shop and back on the dock and get your hook in the water. You can add my prayers to the list of prayers and vibes and energy headed your way.

By the way, I'm just waiting for my neighbor, Jose to get off work and give me a ride home. I be discharged! WhOoOoOoOoOoT!
I gotta give him and his family Kudos, too. Their daughter has been taking care of my wife for me while I'm in hospital, as has his Wife, Juana. My wife needs some assistance since her strokes, and they really stepped up when I needed them.

Well,I have my imaging results back on my heart. I also had a MI,it appears (Myocardial Infarction). I lost about 12% of my functional heart muscle in the event, and will likely be getting a pacemaker/Defib unit sooner or later, likely sooner. Thanks for all the supportive PM's(Y'all know who you are, they are much appreciated, even my favorite PITA ) This definitley knocked the stuffing out of me......I feel like a half empty stuffed Winny the Pooh bear. Please, no mention of thison my Facebook page, my mother reads it,and I don't want her overly concerned. She's already trying to hover enough. (She doesn't follow the forums,so I'm safe enough posting it here.......)

Come on, Tom, take it easy on Mom, after all you've been her baby all your life. Think of all the things she put up with. Oh and get well sooner than later.

.......very bad deal. I know you were already concerned about your ejection fraction. You're talking about an ICD ?

I guess the upside is that if you get a pacemaker, it ought to cut down on you problems with A-fib, right ?
I don't know jack about ICD's, but they seem to be all the rage right now, in terms of positive studies.

Wow, Tom. As soon as I get settled, I will be getting a consult from an electrocardiologist for a possible defib. I had been feeling poorly since march and despite passing a stress test, they found another 100% blockage in my heart. No MI though, apparently I have the ability to give myself a bypass (link).

I know that with your attitude, you will be back up and around in no time at all. This is just another little bump in the road of life that you will overcome with the typical Stormcrowe style. I will be praying for you and your family and caregivers and that wonderful community you have found. Godspeed on your recovery Mr. Stormcrowe.

Glad you're not dead. Of course, as the Pope of BF, I should tell you that you will not qualify for BF Sainthood until you are deceased, so there is a bright side to everything.
