What's your least favorite liquor?

For me it would have to be Rum.

We don't experiment enough since we are mostly beer and wine people...I would say Scotch makes me gag..I equate it with poison...Gin is about equal...
But then..After one New Years Eve..I never, ever have touched strong whiskey...Once with a bottle of Wild Turkey...I was elated to see daylight, because it is a miracle that I did...another poison, I choose to enter our home.

Southern Comfort. It is way too sweet. To me, it tastes like bourbon (mmm..) mixed with cough syrup and 40 packets of sugar.

I once tasted homebrew "vodka" of sorts... that was truly bad. Of the commercial ones I have to say the Zwack Unicum has been one of the strangest I've sampled... or that Chinese hard liquor a friend bought home as a souvenir. I tried a couple of times to taste it, but the smell alone made me gag. My friends told me the taste was worse though.

Oh you'll learn.

I drank 3/4 of a liter bottle of scotch once straight out of the bottle when I was in college. Not the smartest thing I have ever done. Needless to say I gag at the smell of scotch. It smells like an ash tray. There was a bottle of I believe Vermox that had the weed in it. Tasted like death. There is a bar here that serves what is called a Lunch Box, a shot of Beam and a can of Pabst for $2 I believe. I hate Beam but I always do it because there isn't a whole lot going on upstairs.

And despite it's strange mystery appeal to some people, I always steer clear of homemade corn liquor. I saw some guys once making moonshine with a used car radiator, and that was enough for me. Plus it tastes like cheap gin mixed with rusty water.

You have to get some one that knows what they are doing. My dad used a converted pressure cooker with a temp guage(This is important) and cooled the vapor by running a coiled copper line inside of a big piece of sealed pvc, then the pvc had inlets and outlets on it and was hooked to the faucet for cold water. Smooth stuff. His side of the family was in the "production" business way back when

Vodka, esp. Country Club brand. An Army buddy came to visit me years ago and brought a 1.75L of the afore mentioned crap. We did shots out of water glasses(12 oz.), then got Taco Bell. I think you can figure out the rest....

Can't deal with any sweet liquors. Just the smell gets my stomach going & my head pounding. Of course, I had some "experiences" in the past that may have something to do with it...

Really? My great grandfather was in the "running" business way back when. (Or bootlegging if you don't get my reference, .)
