It's already spring in Oregon...warm sunny days, short sleeved shirts...when it should be raining and cold. Thanks, global warming! I don't know whether to or .

no your not. As soon as you get that shiny sneak peak of hope, the light at the end of the tunnel. THe snow takes it away . I dont know why but this year winter is bothering me a lot, I never used to mind it before this year.

I lived on the east coast and in the midwest 23 years and don't miss it one bit for this exact reason. I had every seasonal affective disorder imaginable. No amount of hot chocolate and booze gets you through it sane. By March I'd be having dreams of green trees and warm sun and putting in lots of miles, but outside it'd be nuthin but icy gray misery.

Out west is where it's at. None of that up and down temps thing every week. Right now we're enjoying an even earlier spring than usual (El Nino rocks!!). 60F, full-on cherry blossoms, apple blossoms, daffydils, and crocuses, even seen roses and rhodies in bloom. Winter rarely keeps you indoors, and if it snows 4" the whole city shuts down and everyone goes sledding on the steep city hills. Paradise, baby. Eff being "winter hardcore". I've done that. Life is too short.

Oh wait, I'm not supposed to tell anyone this. Yeah! It rains! A LOT!! All the time! Don't move here!!

Its still very much winter here, buddy. We got some snow on the ground and ice is everywhere, nighttime lows hit about 5-10 degrees.

Stacey, the signs of global warming are more than just hot weather - we might also get more extreme weather, both hot and cold, more severe storms, etc. I'll bet you get a hot summer following the cold winter...

I'm happy it's warm here in Oregon, but let me emphasize that it's unseasonably warm...and a little disconcerting. Anyway, in the friggin' NE, Feb is always winter, so what are you complaining about?

I wish you would have started this thread 17 days from now, 'cause then it would already be spring.

That's what I've been riding in lately, but it's supposed to be nice and warm this weekend(almost 60). Of course, we don't have any snow left on the ground either.

All I have to say is I LOVE COLORADO!!!! If we do get a big storm in March or April it won't be around to long. But this weekend is looking good. High 50's close to the 60 degree mark. Couldn't ask for anything better, well maybe just more daylight but thats only a month away. YEA!!!!

How did we end up counting spring from the equinox? I've always gone by the first of the month. Eh, doesn't matter I guess.

Hey California! Quit hogging all the rain. That belongs to us and I miss it. I didn't even get a chance to go skiing this year because of you selfish thieves. It's going to be summer here again soon, and I won't even have completely cooled down from last summer's sweltering 80 degree temperatures.

All the seasons run from euqinox to solstice to equinox. It's a pagan thing, you wouldn't understand.

New Hampshire weather won't give, still no sign of temperatures above 40 degrees here. Spring is still a long ways away. Snow storm seem to be pounding us on a weekly basis. I am studying Meteorology and it appears us New Englanders are going to be recieving another Nor'Easter within the next few days too. Time to embrace the horror!!!

It's kind of sunny/sprinkling here in So Cal. Not really rain, just a drizzle.

I went for a ride today
