I updated my phone last night and no cows dropped from the ceiling. However, Spock the cat sat at my feet and meowed loudly throughout the entire update. But then he does that any time I'm on the computer.

My iphone4 is still on its original OS (IOS4?) I don't have a big need to upgrade it except to perhaps install a few apps that require it.

My iphone doesn't even know that computers exist, it has never seen one. My problem is that I have an ipod and so I use my computer to sync music to the ipod, I don't want to plug in my phone and have it start syncing music to the phone, so I'll never be able to connect my phone to my computer. Just as well I suppose- the phone gets along pretty well without a computer.

It mucked up all my ringtones, but that's about it. Seems decent.

I love my 4S, the upgrade took 20 minutes (unlike 6 which took 7 hrs), the home page is cartoonish looking, but stuff runs faster and there's a lot of improvements, so I'm very happy. Ask me about my Samsung tablet and ICE.

That said, I like some of the stuff here, the Willy Wonka is the best, putting that on FB

I can't see the sense in updating my iPhone 4, plus there isn't a jailbreak for it yet, as far as I know anyway. My 4 is 3+ years old, still running 5.1.1 still hold a battery charge well, fully charged battery app reads 94% when fully charged. I jail-broke it so I could switch to the Straight Talk network, which uses the sames towers as AT&T, but I get unlimited talk text and data for $48.91 a month. Would I buy another iPhone? Maybe, depend on whats out available when the 4 isn't working anymore.
