Cans? The ONLY cans I've ever heard that were worth popping (ODDLY ENOUGH) were Guiness, supposed to be better than bottled.

Since I know what you're saying, and absolutely refuse to get 'unsteady', I limit myself to 1...per day. (Oh, and I'm just a touch of a snob, Sam Adams or better.)

Last time I drank a beer, a 70 year old grandmother dropped me riding home.

Don't. You might hit someone. Or run into a tree or something. Then we will never find you because you have all the flashlights.

I find when drunk with a bike, it makes an excellent device for helping you walk upright lazily.. no riding required. I don't often get drunk, but I do often imbibe.

I saw a drunk guy trying to re-mount his bike. He was bloody from a head injury and lots of scrapes down his side. He managed to ride/wobble for 10 feet before falling again. Darned if he didn't try to re-mount his bike. Long story short, he wasn't listening to our suggestion that he walk his bike, so I waved down our friendly neighbourhood police to help him out. They were good about it, and obviously knew the guy. Nice to see the police have compassion at times.
