It's so cold!

Yep, it's that time of the year when Rube starts whining about the weather.

Lucky for me, my current land lady has never before rented to a Puerto Rican, hence the rent includes free gas... buahaha

Yeah, the high is supposed to be 88 F today. Time to break out the thermal underwear.

Heck yeah it's freezing here, only supposed to get to 90 degrees today, better turn off the a/c and turn the heat on and bring in some firewood for the wood stove.

They're selling heaters at Kroger. So maybe RubenX knows something that we don't know.

Frankly I doubt it. All the geese I see in the skies seem to be heading north.

Well his location is listed as Florida, not far from me. So unless he is used to the climate on Venus, I wouldn't call it cold where he is.

Because of a screwy HVAC system that we have here, the warmest my office has been all summer is a balmy 68 degrees. Mostly it's in the 62-64 degree range, sometimes slips a bit lower while I look out my window at the students wandering around in shorts and t-shirst. I wish for the days you floridaricans consider cold.

I went to school with some people from Canada and Florida, and the first week of school the temperatures ranged from cold enough to snow to 60 in 1 week. That's not unusual in Chicago, and the friend from Florida was complaining about the cold to the Canadians who were glad to break out their shorts and sandals. I said welcome to Illinois, that's the way the weather is here.

Just thinking, it's the start of spring in the southern hemisphere so what if we arrange him(Rueben) a job down south for their summer? Anybody know the contact numbers for H.R. at Camp McMurdo?

He'll soon be engaged to the landlady...and they will be separated soon after.

I hope we get some snow this winter.
