So daylight saving time will end next month . . . FALL BACK time!

I would like to keep it year around and NEVER change the clocks. it would be simpler all around and give us an extra hour in the evening. I just hate it when it gets dark so early. Really puts a crimp in my riding schedule.

So besides heading to work inthe dark, and kids going to school in the dark, are there any other downsides to keeping it year around?

A wise Indian once said, only the US Government could think if you cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it onto the bottom of the blanket, you get a longer blanket.

Can't remember where I read that, love it though. Leave it how it is now. It's dark no matter what when I leave for work, it's dark half an hour after I get home when it changes next month. Would rather like it to be still light out at least until 5-5:30.

Here in far east Florida, it's a freakin' sauna all summer. Finally, the weather breaks and it's perfect. A couple weeks later, they move the clock and it gets dark at 5:30!

just another stupid old tradition that's really pretty pointless. it needs to go away.

and stop celebrating columbus day, because the guy was a horrible, terrible guy and really deserves to be shunned, not celebrated.

Hear hear, daylight savings time is stupid. I don't hate many things but DST is one of them.

Man, I hope no one in Arizona reads this thread. You should have put some sort of spoiler alert or NSFAC (Not Safe for Arizona Citizens) warning in your title.
