What did I miss during the massive Windows 7 update?

I thought my CPU was going to give birth to a laptop this morning it was making so much noise during the update, I sure I missed something in that time. What did I miss?

It started last night with a gigantic update that didn't finish until after I rebooted this morning, and that lead to more of the same. Maybe it's all that government spyware so they can track my every move on the interwebs.

Why don't you open Control Panel>Windows Update>Update History and see what it was.

The one I got in September installed Service Pack 2. Maybe that's what it was...

Maybe you had not installed SP2.

I thought it had SP2, everything seemed to be up to date before that. Most of the updates listed in the history are for security updates, it must be much more secure now.

Dunno; my Win 7 downloaded and installed 29 Win 7 updates this morning, took 15 minutes total including a restart.

I slept through it. As I shut down for the evening got the update screen and wasn't going to wait around.

ARGGGG! Just tried to use Adobe Premiere CS6 and my DSLR sequence presets are missing (again). Don't know if it was the windows update or some Adobe update. Tried bringing up a project I had done earlier, only to get the message that preset doesn't exist. Like last time, software shows fully updated. Only solution is to uninstall everything, use Adobe Cleaner, re-install CS6, do the initial update to get the DSLR presets that are missing on the initial install. About ready to go Apple and start using Final Cut X for video. Don't know what is causing it to disappear - perhaps a system rollback/recovery?
