Oreos are as addictive as cocaine

!!!

Oreos as 'addictive' as cocaine in lab rat study
Anyone who's ever eaten an Oreo knows how difficult it can be to eat just one.

No wonder they taste so good.

Not peer reviewed. Does not seem to understand what addiction is.

Addiction isn't just good, want more.

I have eaten more than my share of Oreo's in my life.

I have snorted more than my share of cocaine.

I have an addictive personality and most of my addictions have been replaced with bad eating habits.

I quit all drug use. I changed my eating habits and dropped 68 pounds in 9 months.

Based on my life experience, this is junk science and I would wager large sums of cash it does not hold up under scrutiny.

It is far easier to walk away from Oreo's than cocaine or most of the other drugs I have done. This sort of study is demeaning to people who struggle with drug addiction by trivializing the addictive effects of drugs and gives an excuse to over-eaters and those who don't take responsibility for being fat.

"Hookers and Oreos!"

Just doesn't have the same ring to it.

If you wanna hang out you've got to take her out; Oreos.
If you wanna get down, down on the ground; Oreos.
She don't lie, she don't lie, she don't lie; Oreos.

If you got bad news, you wanna kick them blues; Oreos.
When your day is done and you wanna run; Oreos.
She don't lie, she don't lie, she don't lie; Oreos.

If your thing is gone and you wanna ride on; Oreos.
Don't forget this fact, you can't get it back; Oreos.
She don't lie, she don't lie, she don't lie; Oreos.

She don't lie, she don't lie, she don't lie; Oreos.

I sometimes bake real cookies. They make oreos look like crap.

You eat one you want more and more and more.

You can start replacing meals with cookies.

Then you get tired of them.

That is not how cocaine or heroin works.

I could live on cookies....Oreos, Nutter Butters....or TimTams. You name it. Good thing I have a high metabolism or I'd weigh a shat-ton.

I feel the same way about Oreos, but I have similar problems with other cookies such as Chips Ahoy and homemade chocolate chip cookies. For that matter I have trouble stopping when I eat peanut M&M's.

Never been an Oreo fan, nor any other manufactured cookies. Well, maybe Peek Freans Digestives with a slice of old cheddar. Never tried cocaine..
