Awesome! I do miss winter sometimes. It's never "winter" here in Florida, we have two seasons, summer and not summer.

#1 reason I moved south.
Grew up in Syracuse, NY - lake effect snow capitol of the country. I love snow, it's beautiful, and lovely, and there are plenty of fun things to do in and with it. But, man, driving in it sucks. Shoveling or snow blowing your driveway constantly sucks. Scraping the ice and brushing the snow off your car sucks. Being COLD, sucks.
Basically, if you're not just looking at it and admiring its beauty on a landscape, or sledding down a hill on it, snow can go **** itself.

Meanwhile, those of us in more sensible latitudes will be out pedaling our bicycles.

I don't know... we've actually talked about possibly moving somewhere further north just so that there is something other than freezing rain to go along with the cold wind. Then we remembered that we don't really like being cold.

My idea of winter would be snow on grass/dirt and clear roads/sidewalks/MUPs.

In this part of the world ... daylight savings time started a month ago, and summer will start in a month.

Unless I am able to put my evil plan in place and steal summer from the southern hemisphere. The only problem is that my only current plan will require a massive nuclear explosion that will destroy most of the world. I am working out the bugs.

It snowed a fair bit last night, sucks that I need to drive but the winter tyres are on the car and I might get a ride in later.
