This is why some people should not reproduce

A guy at a gas station in Georgia sets his wife on fire.
1) man playing with lighter while pumping gas
2)man starts fire while pumping gas'
3) man pulls gas nozzle from gas tank filler
4)remaining gas in nozzle sprays on wife setting her on fire

A good case of stupidity.
Man is now facing criminal charges.

This explains our State Legislature, our Governor, US Senators and Representatives.

When you live in GA you get used to stupid.

This LiveLeak video has more of the moments lead up to the lighting of the truck.

Husband sets wife on fire.

You notice that they are both looking around like children before they do it. What were they thinking?

I'm wondering if they weren't trying to pull some insurance scam.

Did you look at the live leak video? They definitely weren't just doing it for grins.

Scary. I think Artkansas is correct. In neither video does it look like he's lighting a cig. He "flicked" his lighter then held it down to the pump. Not up to his face. I thknk/hope dousing his wife was an accident. Hope she recovers OK.

As far as Darwin awards go. If they haven't reproduced they probably will. Not just 1 kid each but multiples. Think about it. How many people over 25, with questionable intelligence like this, do you know who don't already have 2 or 3 children?

I got a dose of worry the other day... a gas station I often use is right next to a bus stop.

I am over at the pump filling my car, and a bus rider steps away from the curb toward the pumps... to light a cigarette and smoke it. Apparently she didn't want the smoke to bother the other bus riders waiting at the bench... but had no compunction about lighting up while standing near a gas pump in operation.

She stayed about a 1/2 car length away. But for a moment... I wondered.

Yeah-
I don't see him lighting a cigarette?
He looks like he is lighting his wife-putting his hand near her shirt just Before POOF

In any case-no cure for being a SMF.

Well, most people that live in Florida are not native Floridians, I am from New England originally, spent the first 26 years of my life there. True native Floridians are a rare individual here in the sunshine state.

A very valid point. Remember the woman who claimed she was trampled at Walmart,
when they had DVD players on sale for some wicked low price? Turns out, she apparently made her living by filing suits against big retail stores.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

In elementary school in Florida, I always had to play a Yankee in the playground civil war games because I was born in NY. The confederates always got the monkey bars. I wonder if they even allow boys to play Civil War on the school playground anymore.

Well of all the places I have lived, Florida is the biggest melting pot of people, from other places, both from this country and other countries as well. Perhaps there are some other places, like California comes to mind, that have such a mix of people. I think punkncat was trying to insult Floridians, but I thought it was kind of silly, because, native Floridian represent such a small percentage of the population of Florida. No I doubt that anyone is allowed to play civil war anymore. Way to politically incorrect for todays world.
