I remember when I was looking for work I would apply to 3-5 jobs a day, but I really needed a job.

^^ this is a very true fact, unless you can explain the gap in your employment history, like you spent x amount of time doing volunteer work or something.

I wish I could find that many in my field. The truth is what I'm looking for is not very common. Also I'm working working full time in my field, which easily leads to complacency.
