    Foo Thanksgiving Buffet

    What are you bringing?

I am going to bring ice. It is my specialty. Oh, and I will make some deviled eggs and maybe a batch of peanut butter fudge. Ya'll like it with or without nuts?

We're not going anywhere, locking the door, pulling the shades, cranking the music, breaking out the Scrabble board, cranking the heat, and staying in our pajamas or less all day.

At some point, I will make a batch of Maple fudge with walnuts. Or pecans. Or most likely a batch of each... And cookies. Haven't really got beyond that.
I know next to nothing. I am frequently wrong.

It doesn't make sense, but one of the traditional foods my family serves at Thanksgiving is melanzane alla parmigiana (eggplant parmigiana). We just call it melanzane. I think it started as a vegetarian alternative to meat. I love it to this day as I don't particularly like turkey. I also love the cruddite tray before dinner. All sorts of lovely veggies cut up, nice cheeses, good crackers, some dips. I'll bring both...

BTW my family is japanese - I said it makes no sense...

Jsharr, quit putting words in my mouth. Firstly, I said nothing; secondly I wouldn't waste my time drinking Blue; and thirdly the jerky is all gone.

    I'll bring cake:

You can further the brotherhood of man by eliminating class.
You can lift the wage earner up by equalizing earnings.
You can bring about prosperity by overturning the holders of power.
You can strengthen the weak by eating the the strong.
You can help the poor by destroying the rich.
