I only know how to use a fly rod. I'm a snob.

And the deed is done. It is raining far too hard for me to pill out my camera. In any advent, trout season is open at Springwood.

They are all in the 12 to 14 inch range. Most are in the pond, 50-60 are in the creek.

I got all rainbows this year. The only "trout" native to Georgia is the Brook trout (which is actually not a trout but a type of charr).
We do have wild breeding populations of rainbow, and browns in the north of the state but they are introduced and supported by the state hatchery.

Good browns in the Hooch. I however will eat my trout. Hooch fish scare me on the plate.
