Greedy, arrogant and stupid. A good recipe for success. I respect him for his honesty and willingness to test his equipment himself.

I think sending him a grenade to test would improve the gene pool.

I love that show. I love the crazy theories.

But, it did make me want to have a swimming pool full of fish and hydroponic veggies.

My sister is with one of those loons. He plans on taking over the local park (by force) and farming it. He has pre-made uniforms with name tags for his chosen 'group', weapons and so much dry food in his attic that the walls show crack lines.

No, I do not know what she sees in him.

Most of the theories are beyond ridiculous. But some of the ones I have seen are slightly possible. But I'm not building an underground bunker, or stock piling food and other necessities for 10 years. I figure if the world goes to hell in a hand basket I'll do what ever I can to survive, if I don't survive, oh well.

was cool to see what did guy did with the front of a rear projection tv he used it as a magnifying glass buring a 2x4 in seconds it was like 4 feet by 4 feet and like 1/16th inch thick

If I was into drinking heavily it would make for a great drinking game of 'drink at the crazy talk'.

I just think that the world is going through a few rapid and major shifts in culture and economics and that frightens people. It's just a shame so many react like this.

The readiness part of the equation I think is reasonable; Hurricane Katina's aftermath showed us that sometimes things aren't going to work the way they should. Being prepared for likely events is just common sense, although there is a point where it can become an obsession.

Testing a homemade bullet proof vest while wearing it is dangerously foolish, but being TV it might not have been a real test. Bullet resistant would be a better description for Kevlar vests and wearing one is more an optimistic hope than anything else.

Most of the stories are beyond limitations. But some of the ones I have reviewed are quite possible.

I'm not sure I want to survive after seeing some of these people and their plans. Maybe the zombies will wipe them out.

i don't mind these people. they don't bother me.

on the other hand, the lady behind me on my flight the other day could have used a slap across the face after she first opened up a can of what smelled like rancid cat food and ate it for way too long, and then, later, crammed something (her cup?) in between the seatback and tray table, poking me in the back, forcing me to turn around and finally ask her, "wtf?"

the flight was delayed an hour. really, you can't eat your cat food in the airport somewhere less confined before boarding?

is it not enough i have to listen to your half witted, too loud, too uninformed opinion on american literature, you then have to attack my senses from denver to seattle?

f.u., lady behind me on the plane.
