Mythical monster stories

I just watched a episode of River Monsters with Jeremy Wade, he was deep in the Amazon with the natives catching Arapaima fish known to kill people and the largest fresh water fish in the world.

He got sidetracked when the natives told him there was a snake called the Cobra Grande living in the area. Thought to be a myth the snake dwarfs the Anaconda's that can grow to 30 feet long so they went to show Jeremy the spot. They showed the animals sliding tracks and the hole it lives in "huge is the only word for it" and giant scaled snake skin, when the natives saw it previous they shot it with a rifle 3 times that had no effect and found the lead bullets on the ground later.
A whole native settlement had to be moved because they were so afraid of it. It's like a LocNess Monster story but with obvious proof. I tried to find a full episode on youtube but only found this from that episode.
I recommend watching if you can, I believe it's on Animal Planet too.

Well I am a believer in the Sasquatch or Bigfoot. Even though no remains have ever been found there are too many sighting that can't be explained away as mis-identification or over active imaginations. It seems to me that there are plenty of areas in North America where not a lot of people wander around were such creatures could stay hidden.

There have been stories here in Florida of divers being attacked and nearly swallowed alive by giant goliath groupers.

René Descartes thinks otherwise.

He was not real either. I made him up to. I think.

The forests in PA have a creature called a squonk.

Genesis did a song about it. It is also referenced in the Steely Dan song "Any major dude will tell you".

My trouser snake is of mythical proportions.

There are scarier fish in the amazon that are too small to even catch in a net.

I'd like to believe but my coworker who is a wildlife biologist and has worked in many supposed prime bigfoot areas in the PNW and knows other biologists that work there pretty much debunked it for me. They've done countless owl and other surveys that involve spending nights in the woods making recordings and have come up with nada as far as bigfoot evidence.

Now extraterrestrials on the other hand.....

I've heard about those before, glad I don't live in the Amazon, or relieve myself in the water there.

He's looking in the wrong place in deepwoods owl habitat, everybody knows they like the beach for the surfing.

I crossed my legs watching Candiru, Jeremy showed them tonight and talked to the victim, also showed the actual Endoscope footage of it being removed from his willie
But there's worse, a tiny Catfish that enters the body leaving a bullet wound type hole then eats peoples insides out leaving them hollow :twitchy:

Tonight's episode was catching and investigating reports that Piraiba Catfish eat people whole which they do, fascinating stuff
