Nice. What wood is that?

Your cleats are going to wreak havoc on that floor.

Maybe I should have asked what they call it. Red Maple? Tawny Beech? Old World Pine?

Pretty.

If you don't muck it up with furniture you will have great bicycle parking and room for tools and a workstand. ;)

That looks really nice. For you guys that like the wood look but not the maintenance, you can buy wood looking ceramic or porcelain tile. I just did a closet with the stuff and we love it.

Very nice!

I hated the carpet that was in my house when we moved in. Then we found what was under it:

We had the whole house done in birch:

after years of living in apartments i can safely say that carpet is just awful. disgusting and awful.

our current apt has laminate everywhere except the two bedrooms. it is amazing.

no motor? 12-07-13 11:10 AM

Looks nice in both cases. My GF just had the floors refinished in the last room that had carpet in it, and the pictures of it look really nice.

ilikebikes 12-07-13 04:07 PM

Looks great! You did it yourself. correct?

mikeybikes 12-07-13 10:16 PM

Beautiful looking floor.

I must say, I love not having carpet. We have a large area rug in our living room for the baby to play on, the rest of our upper floor is hardwood and I love it.
