Realizing that a borderline Aspergers workmate of mine actually has a very dry wit, and likes to kid around. Really put a smile on my face.

An almost problem free job this morning. Job approved this afternoon and money in the bank tonight!

Another in the morning but no telling how it will evolve. But, it's a job, eh?

It will be fun though. I love work I enjoy.

Work that is A) Meaningful. B) Lucrative C) Familiar but Strange or Different D) Work that challenges your knowledge or talent.

Staying in a comfort zone is not the path to better pay or life satisfaction, IMO.

...30 miles at road speeds on an Italian bicycle with a blonde babe named "Chuckles"
drinking beer on the deck at the turnaround stop downtown. Also Brussels sprouts,
braised with some bacon, garlic, onion, pasta, and a little pesto, and a bald eagle
flying over lake Tahoe.

I have a variety of kinks and turn-ons....................

A mid-week trip to steamboat springs. Work is paying for it and everything. I do kind of have to work a couple hours , but my wife and son get to come along as well.

Finding out that my oldest son, who is a freshman in college, made the top 40 list of players being considered for the varsity roster on his school's baseball team. They will cut down to 30 right before the first game in a few weeks. Hopefully, he'll survive that cut as well.
