Seriously, this is real

http://www.artisanalpencilsharpening.com

Yep, a pencil sharpening service, and at $35.00 a throw too.
No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.

Well, most people in here are DIYers. Just buy his book on Amazon for around $10 and learn the craft. Think about the money you can save.

By the way, it's real but it isn't.

He's a phony! If you zoom in on the photo in the ad you can see an electric sharpener on the table.

I saw David Rees speak about his book, How to Sharpen Pencils, two years ago at the Arkansas Literary Festival. He's funny and absurd. The Amazon reviews of his book will tell you exactly what this is about.

....you know, if I were the sort of person who tries to find fault with everything, I could say that your avatar looks a lot like Barbara Eden.
Not me, I'm willing to go with it and imagine that it's you. Artistic license.....you probably point out the logical plot failures to your movie companions too, don't you ?

Edit: also, are you remembering to breathe ?

Um, it is Barbara Eden, as was my previous avatar.

You've been posting in P&R too much. Foo is all about finding humor in stuff like this.

And I'm breathing just fine, thanks for asking! Have you been increasing your fiber intake?

Hardly. My wife told me about some article she read online about various legit companies that had questionable URLs, depending on how the syllables were read aloud. The only one of that list I recall with ease is one for the Pen Island Pen company- http://penisland.net/.

...fiber is my life. I'm glad to hear you're breathing, and it's not just so I can stare at your chest.
