This thing costs more than my car did.

It'd be worth it just to see and hear Renée Fleming sing the national anthem. An artist with a voice that's up to the task.

I remember watching the 1982 U.S Open tennis championship with my soon-to-be-wife on her 9" black and white set that she had won as a fundraiser prize. Jimmy Connors won that year...

My corner bar no longer has any stout on tap. They do have a very good house amber ale that they sell at happy hour prices all day long though.

If you source internationally, specifically from Pacific Rim vendors, now is the season of suck. Chinese New Years--they have huge company parties and shut the country down for a week so all the rural folk working in factories can go back home once a year. Superbowl is when more USAians buy newer, bigger TVs than any other time of year, so shipping channels are clogged with new TVs instead of stuff which doesn't matter as much, like books...

Even better, rent your own Jumbotron for the big game.
