PSA for GA foosters

The white stuff is what the yankees call snow. It's frozen water. It's not the sky falling or the end of the world. Some people even think that stuff is fun to play in. Don't panic.

No flakes here yet. I rode in at lunch time and it was 31F. I think this snowpocalypse will miss CH.

I got about 1/2" accum. so far and it's still coming down pretty good. I bet Decatur ends up close to 2 inches of snow before this ones done.

+1, and I had bacon and cheese grits this morning.

We got a half-inch last week and an inch or so the week before that.

Ive been in the parking deck of my office building for 58 minutes trying to get out. I assume it will take me about 3.5hours to get home 11 miles away.

Survivor's journal--first entry.
Atlanta must have exploded. The fallout has been coming down steadily for several hours. Looters have already raided the quickie mart, no beer or lotto tickets to be seen. Survivors are starting to gather at the Huddle House and the bar in the back of the BBQ joint.

I have experience with this stuff. Do not eat it if it is yellow. Even if your brother or uncle tells you that it is lemon flavored.

All you need to survive is a big bottle of likker, some white bread and some kind of gun to shoot when you get good and drunk.

You'll do fine...

Down here in Savannah we have yet to see the first bit of any kind of frozen precipitation and the town is closing down like Sherman's at the county line.

You sure that is really snow? Could be a bunch of instant potatoes that were exposed to water...

It's actually very dry powdery snow. Usually what we get here is pretty wet and heavy. This stuff is amazingly dry. The snowfall appears to be over and I think there's close to 3 inches on my back deck.

I rode to a job interview while it was snowing today. Think they will have a problem with me bicycle commuting?
