It's about time someone else started this thread. I didn't want to be accused of over-selling the Seahawks, so I've refrained from even mentioning football, all day. On Super Bowl's Eve, no less.

Don't you have oranges to peel..

growing up in Vancouver I was always a Seahawks and Mariners fan. Now that I live in Toronto, I am a Bills and Oakland A's fan.

First year ever I haven't watched practically any football. I never was a huge fan, but I keep up. I know the Seahawks are favored, but I've always kinda liked the broncos.

There was an NFL playoffs pick'em thread also. So I guess there's a tie into the superbowl with that. As for who I'm picking, my avatar show the local past basketball team.

Hey, I see you're in Pittsburgh. I was born something like 60 miles NW of there, & grew up during the 70s, so football just runs in my veins. Everyone there was a fanatic, at the time, so you couldn't avoid it if you wanted to.

That was great. Joe Namath flipped the coin BEFORE anyone chose heads or tails. The official had to grab it out of the air, for a do-over.

For commercials, I like Maserati, VW, & CarMax (whatever that is). Maybe they'll pick up in the 2nd half.

Meadville? Sharon? Just ran up to Meadville to check out a bike shop there. Have one to check out in Hermitage too.

New Castle, actually, but my grandparents had a small farm, going out towards Butler. I drew a blank, but just remembered, they lived across the road from the Lawrence County fairgrounds, next door to Laurel high school. Well, I was kinda glad the Broncos got their 8 points, there at the end of the 3rd. I just started feeling like a shutout wouldn't be really right. When I went outside to smoke, the kids were putting the 4th of July to shame, as far as fireworks. Yay, Seahawks!!!!
