I thought last night's episode was great although being the father of two teenagers, Carl's prolonged angst got a bit tiresome. lol. Loved the ending.

Im diggin' it, and I like Carls straight forward no BS attitude, His dad knows and understands him, and that's awesome. I like the direction they took this season.

My thought, from Rick's point of view, "Oh great... a zombie apolcalyse and my boy is still going to be a moody, back talking teenager..."

As sullen teen Carl has become, I am glad the show still points out kids have a lot to learn, parents may know a few thing or two the kid does not...

The Talking Dead had an interesting commentary on how it would be different for adults like Rick who cling to what life was like before the apocalypse vs. kids like Carl who grow up in it.

I don't see Rick's actions as so much he's trying to cling to the old ways but just wanting Carl to have a regular normal childhood (like any parent would want) which sadly, won't ever happen... its the frutility of the whole thing... life as they know it is gone forever...

Exactly. He's hoping for some normalcy which is long gone and it looks like he may be realizing that now.

Completely unrealistic. Eat 147 ounces of chocolate pudding and sleeping is the last thing anybody would be doing.
