If you ask if you're a troll...

...does that make you a troll? First world interwebz forum problems. LoL and that should be "you're".

And what difference does it make?

Trolling is a state of mind on either end.

I'll never forget when I was accused of being a troll the first time.

It was in the 50+ forum and I held a point that morality is situation based, i.e. there is no absolute morality. I felt surrounded by ethical idiots and typed my mind. Left that forum because I didn't like their group thought. Haven't been back.

I also remember the first time I was trolled. Whether that was deliberate or just some uninformed, ignorant ass hole using my sincere statement as a platform to misinterpret what I typed. I got over it pretty quick. I realized that this forum typing can be fun but it's just typing after all.

Trolling is what you do to yourself if you let it.

Because your first post was, like, gibberish.

I gave you a raft of crap until I, like many others here realized you were genuine.

You feel pretty accepted now, don't you?

No, I didn't call you a troll but I did give you a LOT of grief about your keyboard style.

I think bad keyboard practice can be a "troll".

There's an art to trolling. It's like fishing - you can drag a plank and get lots of aggressive large responses, pissing off every thing with a pulse, or just quietly drift around willy-nilly, catch em, and the throw them back to see if you can catch 'em a second time. I like the latter. Usually because I don't get beat up so much. Heh.

Then there's Trolls. Ugly, grouchy, ugly, foul mouth, dirty folk hiding under bridges. These we should just shoot.

Uh, am I trolling?

Ahh you guys are great. I was just flustered since I try to keep my forum interactions polite and to date have only found one person I couldn't come to an understanding with after butting heads.

And wise words there ahsposo

I gave up on that forum pretty quickly too after I realized it was full of people who all wanted mindless conformity. Too much like a fraternity for me.

You may be able to fit one of those triathlon-style bottle holders on the seat/seatpost... which would bring you up to 7 bottles.

Just pace yourself... both drinking and riding. You'll do fine.

I stole this in response to the guy. Then deleted it after seeing how often he calls people trolls on this forum and others...

I think I'm more irked with the "Oh I'm just repeating what others have said" like he thinks that makes it polite... ARGGGHHHH if I didn't consider BF t be a community I care about I don't think this would bug me at all. I really don't get why this bugs me so much.. it's obvious to me this person doesn't care what my intentions are and would rather label me "offensively" rather than understand we all come from different points of views and style.. hell he even referenced my post count as assumed trolling.. wtf is wrong with some people?
