I did a deal with the pilots to land the plane on my farm, it's now being converted into my home.

Remember that govt. experiment where they made a ship dissappear, but it actually ended up traveling through time?
I think this is a 60 year later aftershock of that.....may even be related to that 4.7 that hit LA a few days ago.

Here's my opinion as someone who has been flying jets big and small for some time with the added benefit of being an Air Force trained crash investigator: I have no freakin' clue. Weird $hit happens sometimes, we haven't fully explored all the ways to destroy an aircraft and kill people and that education is costly, confusing, and ongoing. On the other hand, we have crashed enough aircraft to make a fair guess assuming you have enough facts. But too many people are making the former without an adequate quantity of the latter.

Absolutely....but if CNN and other "news" sources can run with a bunch of BS speculation, I see no reason we can't do the same.

yup and that's the reason there is no "usual terror chatter"

I'll bet the state backing the plan is Iran

I thought the missing plane was coincidental to Russia taking over Crimea. today I read that background checks have been returned for all passengers except those from Ukraine and Russia. another coincidence?

"Police are considering the possibility of hijacking, sabotage, terrorism or issues related to the mental health of the pilots or anyone else on board, and have asked for background checks from abroad on all foreign passengers.

Hishammuddin said such checks have been received for all the foreigners except those from Ukraine and Russia - which account for three passengers. "So far, no information of significance on any passengers has been found," he said."

Satellite images show potential debris 2300 km off the West coast of Australia. This was announce in Australian parliament so I suspect their information will be somewhat more accurate than Malaysian sources. News brief shortly..

Regardless of the outcome, let's at least hope for closure for the family members of those missing.

Yeah I can certainly see why Iran would want to hijack a passenger plane full of Chinese nationals right about now.
