I see the Tracfone logo, but I don't see what manufacturer.

I just looked at Tracfone's site in an attempt to figure it out and the closest thing showing for me is the LG 800G, but that does not have Android.

Stranger still is that the last time I looked at the site, they were hyping their new Android offerings hard and heavy and I'm not seeing nary a one now. So either they sold out quickly or they flopped hard and were sent off to ebay- Tracfone customers aren't necessarily the types to plunk down a c-note+ for a phone.

What phone is that?
These cheap smartphones are amazing devices even if you don't bother using it as a cell phone.

I got a ZTE Flash smartphone for $90. I don't plan to activate it and it's a very nice mini tablet, comparable to my Nexus 7 tablet.

I also just got a tracfone android ZTE Valet ($40) to consider switching to from my tracfone flip phone. The Valet does not have as nice a display and camera as the Flash. The battery life of the Valet seems to be quite good for a smartphone.

I got my tracfone android on ebay. I like the "shopcelldeals" seller. Have ordered from them several times.

I let the insurance expire on my Verizon Samsung Stratosphere II and may be in need of a cheap replacement phone if it gets broken.

I use My Tracks on my Android phone. And yes, the GPS works with wifi off, not sure if it works with phone off, but I know it works without cell coverage.

It's a Samsung Galaxy Clone from Mainland China called the Huawei Glory. It's about the same quality as the bottom rung Samsung Galaxy from 2 years ago. Technically obsolete, but a decent deal for light use ike email and casual web browsing. One nice feature is that it does have a pretty decent fractal antenna in it and gets service fairly reliably even with a 1 bar signal.

I don't know about that, I jumped on it. I did get mine cheaper on Amazon though.

They still offer a couple of $99 smart phones, but not in their main list of "all" phones for some reason:
LG Huawei LG Optimus

My only issue is you can get better spec'd non-Tracfone phones for the price of the more expensive ones, which makes the whole deal a little less attractive.

I couldn't find the one in windchaser's photo, maybe a reconditioned phone from a third party?
