Thank you everyone for all your well wishes. I truly appreciate all the kind words and stories. I am glad in the fact she did not suffer long. She was 'okay' as anyone could be about her diagnosis and prognosis. That makes me happy that she wasn't too afraid. I know she was excited about seeing her mother and grandmother again. I talked to her through face time the night before she passed. The morning of, I got the call she was doing poorly and made the trip back to Ohio. I arrived at the hospital at 430pm and was able to hold her hand, kiss & hug her, and tell her everything I wanted to before she left at 830pm. She was sedated the whole time but I believe she knew I was there and was content that her whole family was around to comfort her.
Every day is a struggle but it's a different struggle. The sharp shocking pain of loss is very slowly being replaced with good memories and happy thoughts. I still sometimes can't believe she's gone. I miss her so.
I've got your restraining order right here. [grabs crotch] Restrain this!
