Hi FOO Folk-

I just found out today that my mother has pancreatic cancer that's spread to her liver and lungs.

Tiffani, ask the doctor now for a referral to palliative care or hospice. Your whole family will benefit.

...very sorry. +1 to what MillCreek said. You will need help navigating the waters into which you and your mother have been tossed.

Hoping you and your family are surrounded by support and caring Tiffani.

Pema Chodron’s book “When Things Fall Apart” can be an excellent companion at times like you’re going through by helping to bring understanding, compassion and love to the forefront of being. It can help you shine a light to guide others on a dark road while also lighting your own way!

be with peace

So sorry to hear this Tiffani. Spend as much time as you can with her and make her as comfortable as possible. I'll be thinking of you both.

Praying for you and many others suffering right now. Stay strong and do not forget to take care of yourself through all this. Make sure you seek wise counsel and unburden yourself. Do not stuff all the emotions you are going to go through. There are programs out there to help you. Use them. Millcreek spoke wise words.
