Speaking as a product of a New Orleans education, I'd like to point out that I don't live there anymore.

Then again I've never seen roads as ugly as the ones back home. Okay, they were worse in Cambodia. And Haiti.

Louisianans do love their public services.

Rockn'shocks fixie! do it Nolageek! $65 for this bike, then $225 (or so) for one of those ENO industry hubs! Ride through the craters on Magazine while drinking an Icee with no straw!

The roads certainly do suck here. Keeps a commuter on his toes, for sure.

And off my saddle!

hahaha! that's awesome My exboyfriend is from New Orleans (sigh) and he's pretty smart, he actually has a masters degree. Maybe he's an exception to the rule but i've noticed these folks have a crazy wild streak, especially when they drink.

How true. Most of my friend were getting trashed as early as I can remember. In fact, I didn't start drinking until I was 24, just because I had a fear of being like them. :/
