The lawsuit does not affect PSP sales, only PS2 sales, as the suit is over technology used in force feedback, which PSP doesn't use. Even if Sony loses, I seriously doubt they'll go out of business, what with all the other divisions they have.

Read the articles. The company that came up with the technology has also been around a while. They won a suit against Microsoft, who has paid them millions in royalties because if it. They're fighting Sony to get paid for their technology being used in Sony products.
