If you could have one impossible wish what would it be?

If you could have one impossible wish what would it be? Forget the obvious like world peace, curing world hunger or disease. Besides given time I think even those things are possible.

Mine would be for people to not grow old. Growing old probably scares me the most of anything. I see my parents growing older and just feel so sad and concerned. I see me growing older and see myself at their age. Scares the heck out of me what could be waiting down the road.

Same here, I often just want to go out like a pro athlete right past the prime of the career.

I'd wish that a moon size asteroid would hit the earth and render it into a cloud of space rubble.

I hope for good health and mobility until the flame goes out regardless of when that may be. I also want my last penny to be spent at my last breath. That is the impossible part.

On the fun side , I wish the weather would always be perfect for me. Perfect temperature for riding my bike or if I wanted a rainy morning where I could sleep in,I could have that too.

Also going to work only when I felt like it but getting paid the same.

And mine is the wish that humanity will become a space-faring species, dragging life across the galaxy.

For more impossible wishes.

/The envelope has to be pushed!

My first thing on the agenda would be to rename the san diego area after me. So instead of "Sunny San Diego" it would be "Sunny Leukyland" instead. Rolls off the tongue.

Teleporting.

I want to be able step into a machine, press a button, and be ... wherever I programmed the machine to take me.

Instead of the 30-ish hours of travel to see my parents, I could hop in this machine, and be there in seconds. More time with my family.
When we're trying to get to a weekend holiday destination, instead of driving through the dark to get there before the place closes, we could hop in this machine and be there a few seconds later. More time at the holiday destination.

Start your efforts with Legoland and work your way down the coast.

Keep the weather between 18 and 27 for half the year and provide perfect winter sports snow for the other half.

Stop getting injured.

I have always wanted one of these. I just love visiting distant places but the travel is simply hellish.

Though, like Dr. Mccoy on Star Trek, I am not sure I would want to my molecules scattered all over the place to be reassembled somewhere else.

And perhaps a topic for another foo thread, would you be the same person at the other end or just a replica?

What about never having to wait for anything? Buses, taxis, elevators, restaurants etc?

this sounds great, until you watch the movie Tuck Everlasting, and want to immediately kill yourself.

Be musically gifted. Be able to play guitar like Carlos Santana or Eric Clapton.

Have the singer song writer talent of someone like Billy Joel.
