Mitch Hedberg died...

According to ComedyCentral.com, Howard Stern's website, the website of the next gig he was supposed to play, and a few other sites, Mitch Hedberg died last night.

If this is true, and not some elaborate early April Fool's Day joke (which it very well could be), then it's truly saddening. He was one of the funniest comics I've ever seen or heard, and probably one of the only comedians my entire family could agree on.

One of the things I like about the bicycle forum is that I can always find out who dies.

We should have an "Obits" forum.

Still not sure I believe it. Sucks either way.

A really funny guy. A damn shame.

One time a guy handed me a picture of himself, and he said, "Here's a picture of me when I was younger." Every picture of you is of when you were younger. Here's a picture of me when I am older. You son of a *****, how'd you pull that off? Let me see that camera...

My fav was the bit about not taking the receipt when buying a doughnut, "I just can't imagine who would ask for proof that it's really yours" He reminds me of lots of my friends from the 70's and 80's.

Sad isn't it, I'm pleased with the recreation plan I've got going, his must not have been as healthy, I guess. They showed his latest stand up act on Comedy Central tonight, actually he was sitting down through most of it. They had a brief tribute afterwards.

I was trying to be polite. I read a report, and they said he'd had a heart attack, but they didn't know why. I had to raise an eyebrow at the wording of it all.
