50+ needs to trade home next winter.

Ok, there must be one of you on this thread that lives in a boring, year round, warm climate clamoring to exchange homes next winter. Perhaps you would like a new challenge in life. Learning hockey, tobogganing down snow covered hills, perhaps ice fishing, snowshoeing, dogsledding, cross country skiing, freezing, slipping, sliding, driving!!!!! Hold on. I know it sounds so exciting and you must wonder how all this can be yours. Just respond and tell me about your boring, bike friendly home and the number of months that you would like to reserve in the great white north!!

Funny!! I played golf over Christmas with a fellow from up your way that was visiting the Carolinas over the holidays. He filled me in on the really short golf (and cycling) season you folks have. Sorry, but I'll take my boring weather over the slipping around!!!

I would rather have my 4 seasons than warm weather year round any day of the week. Nothing like a cool fall morning for a bike ride. I love driving in the snow too. And before you judge me on that I did sales throughout Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Washington year round. I have driven mountain passes in some bad bad weather. 4 seasons makes life more interesting.

No way screw 4 seasons. You get 2 months of solid riding then, 8 transitioning to those solid riding months. Then 2 where your cold/snowed out. BLAH.

Hmmmm this is funny but sometimes you have to watch what you ask for. I just moved to Florida 8 months ago. Been coming down here off and on for the last 12 years. My wife and I decided to move here where the sun shines and she can ride her horses and I could ride my bikes year round.
The weather is great. Nothing better than looking at a TV weather forcast in Jersey with snow ,wind and rain and me in the 70 degree sunny weather.
BUT!!!! You can have the weather i'll take the snow..train on my Computrainer. Gyms never change same here as in Jersey. But if your thinking of moving to a warmer climate just for riding I would never do it. I miss Jersey and would move back tomorrow weather and all.
My wife loves it here for the weather or I would have sold you my sunny home here cheap.
