Gotta love little kids!!!

I was talking to me niece on the phone who is going to be 5yrs on the 17th of April. I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she said I want a wand to make boys into little princes!!! I'm still laughing. I had to ask my sister if that is what she said and my sister is like yep, she keeps telling everyone that. HOW CUTE!!!

I once left my house all geared up to go for a bike ride and a little kid and his sister were walking down the sidewalk past my house. The little boy (maybe 5?) looked up and me and said very enthusiastically, "I LOVE your hat!" referring to my helmet. It was very cute.

I was waiting at a crosswalk yesterday and a little girl maybe three years old pointed at me and said 'BIKE!' - her mom told her 'Good job'. Actually kind of made my day...

Today during Kindergarten Time we were up in the boy scout room where we usually are and a kindergartener pointed out the moose's head prominetly displayed on the wall and I said it was alive just as my coworker said it was dead.

The five year old's reply was, "if its dead, then where's it's body?" I love that reasoning.

That's funny.

It reminds me of our trip to Disney World last October. Cinderella asked my five year old son if he had been to "prince school" and he nodded his head looking her in the eye and said, "unh huh!"

I don't like kids. They are loud, spoiled, whiney, annoying and irritable brats. I will associate with kids as long as don't get irritating. I am not saying all kids are like this but just about every single one I had to baby-sit annoyed the fu--...annoyed the hell outta me.

I'm one of those women. Little kids are cute, but I just don't have the instinct to birth. I like to have long vacations with my husband and sleep late. Sometimes, I even have ice cream for dinner.

Oh..and the 10 year old borrowing cresent wrenches for his bike mods...hate it.

Stupid kids, why don't they grow-up a little.

Hehe..I got a shiny part for my bicycle..Red is still the fastest color..I asked the kids.

I think we're a rare breed, sm266. I don't want kids either for the same reasons. Also, I don't really like babies, which I know is a horrible thing to say, but really, I just don't know what to do with them. And I always worry I'm going to accidentally poke that soft spot. Ick. Oddly, I'm a teacher and I love it (high school though, not the little ones).

aww, I like babies, their cute

I don't think you saying that you don't really like babies is a horrible thing to say. I mean, you don't dislike them to the point where you are killing them right? As long as you aren't hurting the kiddos I don't think it's horrible. Just the way you feel.

I also feel that not wanting to have children is fine. You don't want the hassle of sleepless nights, taking care of sick kids, feeding them, taking them to school etc. Thats cool. I'm still glad my mom and dad decided to have kids though, if they hadn't I wouldn't be able to ride my bike

lol, have you seen the video of the little kid who wants candy? At the end it says "this all could have been avioded. Use condoms."

now, I like kids, but it was a damn funny video.
