Bike messenger for 8 years to teacher (for two years now). Major pay cut, but lots more time off, much better benefits, greater feeling of satisfaction. Am applying for other, better teaching jobs now and will have my Master's in one more (long) year, so my pay should increase drastically soon.

Let's see here ... how about childcare worker to engineering technician?

And now I'm about to start working on my Bachelor of Education so I can teach. Ideally I'll teach adults (things like Business Admin courses), or English in various places overseas. I'll have to see how it works out.

i worked in a baseball card shop in medical school

my next job was being a doctor

i might not remember some of the fine details of the kreb cycle but i still know what a 1952 topps mickey mantle card looks like !!!!
