Nice to hear from someone who doesn't ditch their bike in favour of a car the moment they get a license.

It'll be more super cool when you pay for gas and the insurance.

Well, don't run anyone down. Make sure you have insurance. And watch for other cyclists on the road.

Congrats.

Congrats P1!

I probably get at least my learner's permit when I turn 16 in august, but there's not much point until I can both drive without a licensed person in the car, and have my own car/truck to do so in.

Do you already have a vehicle of your own?

Didn't the driving age change to 18y.o. if you were born after 89?

Anyway, congrats dirtjump! I could take my classes, but I'm in no hurry so I'll take them over summer break.

Nowhere for me to drive to anyway...

I got my license at age 27.

I've driven 1 time since then.

What a waste of $600 to take lessons and the DMV test.

I failed my first road test... had to take more lessons and retest at the DMV.

I was supposed to buy a car with my fiancée, but we broke up 2 weeks after I got my license. (That's when I got into cycling actually... to get over being dumped)
