Please dispense with the repeated pop up redirect ads for mobile users

Sometimes it's so bad that I'll be redirected every few seconds, and have to close multiple windows of redirects, as well as repeatedly quit the app store which is getting directed to some game or another. Every time this happens bike forums re loads, and I lose my place and anything I was typing. When it's bad I can't use the site at all.

I don't mind ads - gotta pay the bills. Usually I see targeted ads based on my browsing and shopping patterns, which is fine with me. And I don't see pop-ups - my mobile browser blocks those so I see only regular ads inline with the forums.

But the problem I'm having is the site crashes my mobile browser every few minutes: Kindle Fire HD with Silk and Firefox; iPhone 4s with Safari. Poor implementation of resource heavy ads. So it does discourage mobile access to the site, which may in turn discourage some revenue for folks who might click through to Amazon or other sponsors.

You need to provide more information to help us diagnose the problem.

Device/operating system and version

Do you enlarge the screen view to see it better? (Return it to normal size and check to see if it restores proper screen tracking)

Ads are not suppose to open outside pages unless you 'click'...they should not do so it you simply roll over them.

Can you scan for malware?

Have you tried opening the site manually instead of using an icon?

There is another way to get rid of ads, of course, by paying for premium membership (i.e. Titanium) but if you still have problems with this it may also be bad ads.

What is popping up in specific? If you can tell us it will be easy to verify if those ads come from BF or not, and if they are doing things not allowed by the site.

It must be a setting thing, or some other issue at your end. I don't have any problem at all with pop ups.

When it was just a few ads along the side of the main forum display it wasn't too bad. The more intrusive the ads get, with pop-ups and pop-unders, the more you need to get an ad blocker. I don't see any ads now.

iPhone 6+. The page regularly and repeatedly crashes and reloads. It's worse when I type. Before I installed blocking software every time this happened it would also open a redirect window and the App Store. Occasionally it still does. It wants me to download a social game, usually a scrabble type one, sometimes a strategy game in a magic mideval setting.

As as with most things I type here, I've typed this more than once because the page reset while I was composing.
