Vintage bike

So I made a post looking for old road bikes on Craigslist and someone contacted me with this and is asking 50$, is this a good deal? I believe he said it is a Sears Robuck and Co.

There is a classic and vintage valuation forum where you will get more assistance. I doubt it's a good deal at $50 but hard to tell with the crummy pic. You should give some idea of what kind of a bike you are looking for. If you mention where you are from and your height, people will help you hunt for a bike on your local C&V that fits.

If it needs new tires, brake pads, etc.....not worth $50, unless it brings back fond memories. If it was free, or $10, you would have some wiggle room. If you like this type, the old Raleighs and Schwinn's are the best. For something to ride, a decent hybrid would be nicer.
