Posting Question

I am new here and I was able to start a WTB thread in Classic and Vintage Sales and someone has responded. But I can't reply because apparently I don't have permission to post. How does replying to a thread require greater permission than starting a thread? I am a little confused as to how I can communicate with someone who has responded to my WTB thread. In the meantime I am using another forum member who got me interested (we ride together) in joining the forum earlier today to facilitate communication through my personal email. When will I be able to post a reply and how can I achieve my required postings if I can't post a reply in a thread? I am very confused. Thanks for any response and clarification. Lots of great information here!

You need 10 posts. The quickest way to do that is to go to our Introductions forum and tell us a bit about yourself. Then say hello to 6 or 7 other new members. Introductions - Bike Forums
