Lost Password not being retrived - No Contact from Admin

I have a paid account here on Bike Forums and can't log on to it. Lost my cookies and my password. I have sent numerous password requests using the automated system with no returned email. I tried sending an email to Gardner with a bounce email notice in return.

My user id for the paid account is donhaller, please let me know how to get my password back so I can continue using my correct account

Let me do some checking around.

Your account was already registered as a donating member. You should have an confirmation password.

I have searched both computers for the confirmation email with no success. But I can send a screen capture of the Paypal reciept.

As long as your email is correct you should have received a email notification email. On the other account, not this one.

Maelstrom,

I hope you don't realy think I'm that stupid! I know that the email should have been sent to my email address that I registered the original account with. What I am saying is that I am getting no email from Bike Forums.
I did get an initial email, but it has been inadvertantly deleted. I have no way of accessing that information since the email is gone. Can you manually send me another email or reset my password on the donhaller user account! or transfer my paid subscription to this account "dhaller"

Thanks for your attention.

Thats why I said if the email was correct. There is no way for me to know if thats the correct email addy. I did in fact manually send the email already.

I will switch the accounts seeing as the other one is having so many problems.

Maelstrom,
I thought we were going to get this straightened out? I still have a $25 membership sitting in limbo. Please provide me with some kind of help here. I get tired of messages to join when I already have joined under the username donhaller. I'm currently using dhaller on a free membership so I can contact you and read forum messages, but I'm not getting my$25 worth.

Your help appreciated

a) the other account is in fact setup as a donating members account
b) I have in fact sent an email
c) with a lack of response here I assumed the last thing I did, which was manually send the email, fixed the problem.

I am not sure what you expect from me. Like I said, could the email addy on the other account be wrong? Did the confirmation go through. I will send another one right now to be sure, possibly pm me another email address you can use for confirmations. Did you forget the password? If you look at this thread

http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=136547

You do in fact have a star beside your name. So everything is setup fine on my end, something is going wrong with the password. I have also sent a test email to the address on the account, lets see if that goes through.

I have made this account a pay account as well. IF the other one still doesn't work then continue using this one and I will disable the other.

Cheers

Maelstrom,
Thanks for all of your footwork. I did receive an email from your private account. Not a bike forums account. I have gone to my ISP Verizon and checked my spam filters off, but I am still not receiving any confirmation emails from this site. I do not have the password for the account "donhaller". The password that I started using does not work any longer, but I guess it is mute now that you have activated this account as a Pay account. I wish I could figure out the email problem, because this truly concerns me, not just for this case but others. I hope there is not a filter set up somewhere that I am not aware of.

You can disable the "donhaller" account and I will use the one I'm using now.

Thanks again for your continued patience
Don

i would be pissed, he lost original account which was older and most likely had a high post's per day count that he has to make back up.

Im quite found of my 2 year old bike forums account with my mesely .88 posts per day.
